Tour Details

Sightseeing while surrounded by vivid turquoise waters and some of the southern Cyclade’s lesser-known islands doesn’t sound too shabby, does it? Let’s add filling up on flavourful Greek food and wine in local villages, exploring historic ruins, and relaxing on picturesque beaches into the mix, and we’ve left shabby behind in our yacht’s wake. Straight ahead to sailing perfection captain (well, skipper).

      IMPORTANT NOTES

      1. Space is limited on the boat and especially in your cabin. You can only take soft sided luggage on board, such as a mid-sized backpack or soft duffel bag. (Less than is 15kgs). Suitcases are not appropriate for our Sailing adventures as they are not pliable enough to fit into the niches available for luggage.

      2. Fresh water is very limited on board, and as such we ask for your understanding that showers are limited to one quick shower per person a day.

      3. It`s important to note that the beds in the cabins are not the usual length of a standard bed. The length is approximately 1.8 meters (6 feet), and the single bunks are 1800mm (6 feet) x 610mm (2 feet).

      4. Electrical outlets on board are European style with 2 pins (240V), and are only operational while in port. It is recommended to bring an external battery pack for charging personal electronics.

      5. This is a self-catering trip, and everybody will be expected to participate, cleaning up after themselves, and keeping the boat ship shape at all times (including washing the dishes, and emptying the bins when ashore.)

      6. Physical Rating:
      - You should be able to climb up small steep ladders, or walk over a wooden plank (without a handrail) when boarding/disembarking the vessel, and be physically able to carry your luggage.
      - You will often be climbing in and out of the yachts inflatable tenders at beach landing spots, and boarding/disembarking the tender from the yacht in sometimes challenging conditions.
      - Moving around the yacht while under sail can be challenging as it moves in the waves or heels over to its side. You should be physically able, and comfortable, to move about in such conditions.

      7. Please note that this tour combines with other G Adventures tours. As such, the staff and some travel companions on your tour may have previously been traveling together with G Adventures, prior to Day 1 of your tour. Likewise, some staff and travel companions may be continuing together on another G Adventures tour, after your trip concludes. You may also be changing Skipper CEO and boat.

      8. If you don`t have an EU Drivers Licence - make sure to get an International Licence, to be able to rent a car/ATV/scooter on the islands.

      9. Pre-Trip Contact (G App)

For an enhanced sailing experience, we highly recommend downloading the G Adventures App. This essential tool provides your joining instructions and allows you to connect with your Skipper CEO two days prior to your departure date. Your Skipper CEO will also reach out through the G app chat section with any updates and information required. Stay informed and prepared by accessing all necessary trip details through the app. Ensure a seamless and stress-free start to your adventure by downloading the G Adventures App today! No optional activities

I felt the experience was good and the scenery spectacular; I felt the organisation was sufficient.

Loved this sailing adventure and plan to do another one in the near future. The Captain Marius was excellent with a wealth of knowledge in all aspects of sailing and taking care of his passengers. Our group gelled well and we all had fun swimming, eating on board and going out to dinner and playing cards. I would definitely do this adventure again

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to provide feedback. Normally I would simply say fantastic holiday and give 5 stars. Unfortunately I cannot with this trip for two main reasons.
    – [ ] First and foremost you sell this trip from Mykonos to Santorini which is absolute false advertising. Our boat did not go to Santorini we anchored on the island of the Thirasia day 6 which is a poor substitute to say the least. Day 7 we were left to make our own way to Santorini and told there were ferries that will take us across. This was not true. No ferries run on Sunday. We were told by the captain that there was a problem that day. however, locals said that ferries never go on Sundays . I feel very cheated as I had hoped to spend at least one day on Santorini before leaving for Italy, but unfortunately this did not happen. Instead, the eight people leaving the boat had to pay €10 to get across and then €100 for a taxi.
    – [ ] The second issue was the state of disrepair with the boat. Refrigeration and air conditioning did not work properly. This impacted on some of our food having to be thrown out . It took until day 4 for the back canopy to be fixed so we had some shade. The galley was extremely limited with 6 glasses for 8 people, broken coffee pot a frypan that was not really usable Some of the snorkelling gear was broken so we had to take turns to snorkel.
    – [ ] I personally feel there needs be some compensation for this. I paid US $1750 which amounts to AU$2600 to experience the Greek islands, including Santorini I was recommended by a fellow G adventurer who spoke very highly of your company. I wish I could say the same.
