I felt the experience was good and the scenery spectacular; I felt the organisation was sufficient.
Loved this sailing adventure and plan to do another one in the near future. The Captain Marius was excellent with a wealth of knowledge in all aspects of sailing and taking care of his passengers. Our group gelled well and we all had fun swimming, eating on board and going out to dinner and playing cards. I would definitely do this adventure again
Thank you for giving me the opportunity to provide feedback. Normally I would simply say fantastic holiday and give 5 stars. Unfortunately I cannot with this trip for two main reasons.
– [ ] First and foremost you sell this trip from Mykonos to Santorini which is absolute false advertising. Our boat did not go to Santorini we anchored on the island of the Thirasia day 6 which is a poor substitute to say the least. Day 7 we were left to make our own way to Santorini and told there were ferries that will take us across. This was not true. No ferries run on Sunday. We were told by the captain that there was a problem that day. however, locals said that ferries never go on Sundays . I feel very cheated as I had hoped to spend at least one day on Santorini before leaving for Italy, but unfortunately this did not happen. Instead, the eight people leaving the boat had to pay €10 to get across and then €100 for a taxi.
– [ ] The second issue was the state of disrepair with the boat. Refrigeration and air conditioning did not work properly. This impacted on some of our food having to be thrown out . It took until day 4 for the back canopy to be fixed so we had some shade. The galley was extremely limited with 6 glasses for 8 people, broken coffee pot a frypan that was not really usable Some of the snorkelling gear was broken so we had to take turns to snorkel.
– [ ] I personally feel there needs be some compensation for this. I paid US $1750 which amounts to AU$2600 to experience the Greek islands, including Santorini I was recommended by a fellow G adventurer who spoke very highly of your company. I wish I could say the same.
Loved the experience! Great people, swimming spots and got to experience a lot of different islands.
Captain Ciaran was the best!!
