Excellent driver Spirus. Punctual, professional and great driver what is very important in mountainous Greece. Also very helpful with suggestions on restaurants and other tips. Very pleasant person. Great tour, I would recommend. One suggestion for our tour to spend a day in Monenvasia which is charming place
We loved the trip. Well organized, efficient, flexible ( we changed itinerary for one day of the trip with no problem), comfortable transportation, great driver.
My suggestion to future travelers- prepare for visiting historical sites. No audio guides in Greece yet. Some sites were difficult to navigate through. In the middle of the tour we decided to add professional guides for Olimpia and Delphi. Tourradar was fast with help. Olimpia guide was perfect, Delphi – not that lucky- not only poor English that none of us 4 would understand but also contest of the school text books. But it was short notice for Tourradar- so if you want the guides- give them time to find reputable ones.
4* instead of 5* for communication- I had to deal with maybe 8-10 different agents who sometimes were not aware of my previous questions or requests. Also rigid company policy made us pay about $ 700 more for the trip- beware what currency you use for the deposit- you will not be allowed to change it.
Separate thank you to our driver Spyros. His driving skills and attitude were superb. None of us got car sick despite about 60-70% of travelled roads were serpent. He is very cautious, reliable, punctual. Most of the times restaurants he recommended for dinner very unique. Follow his advice. While on the road Spyros volunteered some info that was greatly appreciated also.
Thank you, Tourradar,
WOW!!!! This was the most incredible trip anyone can take to Greece. We saw all the most important and beautiful archeological sites. What an amazing country! I have been on quite a few tours but I must say that Nikos, our tour driver, was the ABSOLUTE BEST person I have ever been on a tour with. I highly recommend this tour and you MUST ASK FOR NIKOS for the best experience ever!!!! The hotels were all wonderful, the food was amazing and there were so many other stops and sights that made our trip the best tour we could have asked for! Thank you Nikos!!!
p.s. I am addicted to coffee and the coffee in Greece is incredible! I miss my Cappuccino Freddo!
Booked this tour of 9 day to Peloponnese as it was a first time visiting Greece and choose this trip for our family, because we all of us love the Greek History and it did not disappoint- one of the best I`ve ever experienced! Our driver Nikos was a fantastic driver – the perfect balance of physical activity and relax on this unique tour… The hotel were boutique hotels very cozy and out of tourist crowd.
We enjoyed the food we had many stops around for photos!
It is worth to do this trip with private car & private driver as a unique experience
We’ve thoroughly enjoyed the tour with George. His expert tips and “not in the schedule” places are top notch. We appreciate these places you’ve chosen. George simply knows how to dodge the tour buses – simply expert timing! Highly recommend the tour with George!
